About Our Products
What is botanical skincare?
Botanical skincare utilises plant-based ingredients — including seeds, roots, leaves, herbs, flowers, and fruit — rich in vitamins, antioxidants & nutrients that help keep the skin calm, bright, and balanced.
What do you mean by active ingredients?
Actives are scientifically proven compounds that target specific skin concerns.
You’ll find gentle actives in our range, including: Niacinamide, CoQ10, Vitamin C, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid (AHA), Salicylic Acid (BHA), Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Always. We never test on animals and only source from trusted cruelty-free suppliers.
Who formulates your skincare?
Every formula is designed and blended by me in small batches in Waikato, Aotearoa, New Zealand — crafted for quality, freshness and integrity.
What about packaging and sustainability?
We use premium recyclable glass and minimal packaging to reduce waste. As we grow, branded boxes will be introduced responsibly.
Usage & Care
Should I patch-test before use?
Yes — especially with active formulas. Patch-test on clean skin and wait 24 hours. Instructions come with every order and are available on our Patch-Testing Guide.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Some are perfect for sensitive or reactive skin, others contain strong actives. Send me a message and I’ll recommend a routine for your skin type and goals.

Shipping & Returns
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, we ship within New Zealand and Australia.
We’re working to expand to more regions soon — including the UK, Singapore, Japan, and the UAE.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are usually packed within 48 hours (Tuesday–Saturday) and sent via NZ Post Courier.
You’ll receive a tracking email once your parcel leaves the studio.
What’s your returns policy?
Return shipping isn’t covered at present, but if you need to cancel or return an order, please contact me directly — we’ll find a fair solution together.

Fair Trading Act 1986 (New Zealand)
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand)
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold on the Wild Alchemy Botanicals website. In the event that goods sold are deficient or are faulty, the Seller has the obligation to repair, replace or refund.
