About Our Products
What is botanical skincare?
Botanical skincare uses plant-based ingredients — including seeds, roots, leaves, herbs, and flowers — selected for their functional compounds that support skin health.
What do you mean by active ingredients?
Actives are scientifically established compounds used to address specific skin concerns.
In my formulations, they’re used with restraint and balanced with botanicals to support clarity, hydration, and barrier function.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Always. We never test on animals and only source from trusted cruelty-free suppliers.
Who formulates your skincare?
Every formula is designed and blended by me in small batches in Waikato, Aotearoa New Zealand — with a focus on quality, freshness, and formulation integrity.
What about packaging and sustainability?
We use premium recyclable glass and minimal packaging to reduce waste.
As the business grows, branded packaging will be introduced thoughtfully and responsibly

Our formulas are crafted fresh in small batches to maintain potency and integrity.

Our preservative systems are gentle and effective when stored correctly, ensuring products remain safe and stable throughout their intended lifespan.
Usage & Care
Should I patch-test before use?
Yes — particularly when using active or exfoliating formulas.
Apply a small amount to clean skin and wait 24 hours.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Some formulas are suitable for sensitive or reactive skin; others contain stronger actives.
If you’re unsure, send me a message and I’ll recommend an appropriate routine.
How long will my products last once opened?
For optimal freshness, most products are best used within 9 months of opening and stored below 25°C, away from direct sunlight.

Shipping & Returns
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship within New Zealand and Australia, with international shipping available to the UK, Singapore, Japan, and the UAE.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are packed within 48 hours (Tuesday–Saturday) and dispatched via NZ Post Courier.
Tracking is sent once your parcel leaves the studio.International orders typically arrive within 7–14 working days, depending on destination and local customs processing.
Delivery timeframes may vary slightly due to customs clearance.
What’s your returns policy?
Return shipping isn’t covered at present. If you need to cancel or return an order, contact me directly and I’ll assess the situation fairly, in line with the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.

Fair Trading Act 1986 (New Zealand)
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand)
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold on the Wild Alchemy Botanicals website. In the event that goods sold are deficient or are faulty, the Seller has the obligation to repair, replace or refund.
